Artwork Specifications – How to make a print ready file

Supplying you own Artwork?  Make sure your files are print ready, here’s our handy checklist

Here are our specifications

• All artwork must be a ‘pdf’ file with all colours in CMYK (No RGB).
• Trim marks
• 3mm external bleed
• 3mm internal bleed is recommended for all text
• Print file must be a single file eg front and back
• Correct size (e.g. A4 flyer must be 210mm x 297mm + 3mm bleed on each edge)
• All images are supplied at a resolution of 300dpi

Working with your files that do not meet the above specifications?  For a small handling fee (usually $15-$35) we can convert your Microsoft Word or Publisher files to a print ready format, all images (photos) have a minimum requirement of 300dpi to ensure sharp results.

As a guide our graphic design in $70.00 per hour and generally we can produce a simple logo for as little as $175.00.
